What is a fake receipt generator?
A fake receipt generator builds a realistic-looking receipt from fields you fill in yourself - business name, line items, tax, payment method - rather than from a real transaction at a real register. "Fake" here means generated rather than till-printed. It does not make the document evidence of anything: a receipt is only ever as truthful as the details typed into it.

Those uses are prohibited by our terms and are illegal in most countries - fraud, tax evasion, and falsifying evidence carry real penalties. Is it legal to use a fake receipt generator?
Making a receipt is legal; what matters is what you do with it. Using one for your own records, design work, teaching, or props is lawful. Using one to convince someone a transaction happened when it did not is fraud, whatever tool produced the document.
Will the receipt look real?
Yes. The templates follow the fonts, spacing, dividers, and section order that thermal printers, classic registers, and card terminals actually produce, and the live preview shows exactly what will download.
Can a generated receipt be used as proof of purchase?
Only if it accurately records a transaction that really happened - then it is a record of that purchase like any other. A receipt made for a purchase that never took place proves nothing, and presenting one as though it did is fraud.
Can I recreate a receipt from a specific store?
Yes. The template gallery has formats modelled on common retailers, restaurants, and services. They are original approximations, not official documents, and are not affiliated with the companies named.
