Privacy Policy

This Policy explains how ReceiptMade handles personal data when you visit or use the service.
1. Controller and contact
ReceiptMade, Lithuania, is the controller for the processing described here. Contact: receiptmade@gmail.com.
2. Receipt data and uploaded images
Receipt details and images you enter into the generator are processed in your browser to create the preview and downloads; the PDF and PNG files are rendered on your device and are not uploaded to us. Receipt content leaves your browser only if you are signed in and choose to save a receipt to your account, in which case the business details, line items, totals, and styling you entered are stored in our database so you can reopen them later. Do not enter personal data you do not have authority to use. Your browser or device may retain downloaded files under your own settings.
3. Account data
Accounts are optional and the generator works fully without one. If you sign in, we process the email address and account identifier supplied by Google’s sign-in service, together with the receipts you choose to save and their timestamps. We process this to authenticate you and to provide the saved-receipt feature, on the basis of performing the contract you enter into by creating an account. You can delete individual saved receipts from your dashboard at any time, or contact us to have the account and everything in it deleted.
4. Technical and analytics data
Our hosting infrastructure may process IP address, request time, URL, device or browser information, and security logs to deliver and protect the site. Google Analytics and Contentsquare may process online identifiers, cookie identifiers, approximate location, device information, pages viewed, and interactions to produce usage statistics. We do not use analytics to make decisions about you or intentionally collect receipt contents through analytics.
5. Purposes
We process essential technical data to provide the service and support security, abuse prevention, and reliability. We use analytics to understand site usage, diagnose issues, and improve the service.
6. Cookies and analytics technologies
Google Analytics and Contentsquare may set or read cookies and similar browser identifiers when you visit the site. You can restrict or clear these technologies through your browser settings.
7. Recipients and international transfers
Hosting and technical providers process limited data on our behalf as needed to operate the site. Supabase provides our database and authentication infrastructure and processes account and saved-receipt data on our behalf. Google provides the sign-in service used for accounts. Google and Contentsquare act as analytics providers and may process data outside your country, including in the United States, using applicable transfer safeguards. 8. Retention
Receipts you have not saved are never stored by us. Saved receipts and account data are retained until you delete them or ask us to close your account. Security and hosting logs are retained only as long as reasonably needed for security and operations. Analytics retention follows our provider account settings and the providers’ applicable policies.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, receive a copy of personal data, and complain to a supervisory authority. EU and EEA users may complain to Lithuania’s State Data Protection Inspectorate or their local authority. Brazilian users may exercise LGPD rights and contact the ANPD. California and other US residents may have additional statutory rights; we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
10. Children
ReceiptMade is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. A parent or guardian may contact us regarding a concern.
11. Security and changes
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, but no internet service is completely secure. We may update this Policy to reflect service or legal changes and will show the updated date. Contact receiptmade@gmail.com to exercise rights or ask a privacy question.
